Chicken Ma, Shangri-La, & King Chef Restos

Here’s a brief round up of Chinese casual restaurants I tried on latter part of 2013. I've been very busy, hence these late posts.

Chicken Mami House in Binan

Kikiam with rice at P 118, while the siopao costs P 64/pc.

Beef wanton mami at P 164, while the big siomai is at P 33/pc.

Red gulaman at P 80/glass. Too expensive for a so-so taste.

Verdict :  Average taste and expensive for their prices.

Shangri-La Restaurant in West Avenue

I wasn’t able to take much photos. Service is very good. Food is not exceptional but tastes good as expected. One of the first restaurants in the area, famous inexpensive reception venue for weddings and baptismals.

King Chef

Situated along Banawe St. near Manresa, Q.C., we tried this restaurant only because we don’t want to deviate far from our route. With many diners inside, it gave us confidence to try it.

The sauteed wansoy (coriander) leaves was a revelation. It tastes really good. Other dishes have bigger portion size than expected.

Among the three restaurants on this review, this restaurant top the list in terms of food quality, giving the most value-for-money.
